Where Has All The Time Gone?

I got the shot of my little Red Headed friend on my woodpecker feeder this morning. I'm glad he is back in the yard. I'm missed him this winter. Hopefully, I'll be seeing more of him since he has found my new feeder!

I've been "tagged" by Craig's Birds & No Ceiling to leave a six word meme to describe my inner birder. Here is my meme: Where Has All The Time Gone?

It seems that I used to have way more time to bird (in my backyard) than I do now. I've recently changed jobs and that has the most to do with it. I hope to get to spend more time birding now that the time has changed. Nothing like an extra hour or two to spend watching the birds go by!

I'm tagging the following blogs:
The Brownstone Birding Blog, Aunt B's Backyard, Sycamore Canyon, Big Spring Birds, & Iowa Voice. These are a the blogs I frequent the most. Check them out!

If you want to play here are the rules:

1. Write a six word memoir and post it on your blog with an illustration if you'd like.

2. Link to the person that tagged you in your post (see above) so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.

3. Tag 5 more blogs with links.

4. Don't forget to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.

Hey J. Karl, that's a really nice shot of the Red-headed Woodpecker. I've never seen one, so thanks for sharing. I'm also glad to see that your new feeder is working out for you. :)

Craig, Thanks for the compliment on the pic! The Red-Head Woodpecker is one of my favorites. I watched a juvenile all summer and into the winter last year. Maybe this is the juvenile all grown up!

I love the feeder, it attracts many differnt types of birds in my backyard. Thanks for the idea!

Great photo of the red head. We have them in Michigan but I've never seen one in my yard. I love your feeder too. I'm showing that photo to my husband so we can make one.

Thanks for visiting! I just love that feeder, it works great to attract the woodpeckers. Which is fine with me since I love woodpeckers. It is simple to make, check out some of the other more recent woodpecker posts. I put some comments on how to make it.

Nice shot , I love all the woodpeckers that come to my feeders. I had a red bellied here this morning as well and managed a shot of a northern flicker yesterday here at Bull Shoals Backyard Habitat.

You are fortunate to have the waxwing visit.
