New Field Guide

I recently got another new field guide that is very nice. It is a Peterson Field Guide, "Birds of Eastern and Central North America". It is very detailed and has a very nice migration map for each bird in the back.

The detailed drawings help to show the primary, distinctive marks to help identify the bird in the field!

Check out this field guide if your looking for a new one to try out.

God Bless and Good Birding!

Great, another field guide to consider! Field guides are wonderful things and each has its own quality to reccomend it. At times I just like looking through them when not trying to I.D. a bird. I find it very relaxing.

That is the first useful field guide that I ever had.-It still comes in useful even though I use the Sibleys more often now.-it's good to have a variety of field guides.-As Pa-birder said-each one brings something different to the table.

I have a Peterson's and I love it because it shows male, female, juvenile and winter plumage for most of the birds and shows all the sparrows and warblers together, which helps in ID'ing them
